The Dutch Portraitprize will be awarded on June 24th in Castle Zeist. For the third edition of the biennial presentation a record number of 1416 portraitdrawings, -paintings and -sculptures has been submitted.
A qualified jury led by arthistorian Rudi Ekkart has nominated 50 portraits and chosen a winner. All of the 50 nominated portraits are exhibited in Castle Zeist untill the 27th of September. The portrait I sculpted of my mother is also nominated and on display at the exhibition.
